Different options available to the f-150

I am looking to get a 1997-2001 F150. I want it to bee 4 by 4 and a six cylinder. I also want the supercrew or even the regular crewcab. 5 speed standard as well. I live in Canada. does Ford make it with these options or am I forced to get the V8?

I believe that the supercrew only comes with 8 cylinders; 4.6L or 5.4L. The supercabs come with 6`s & 8`s.

It's also important to note that the SuperCrew didn't become available until 2001. All of the SuperCabs, to my knowlege, came with an available V6 during your time frame... it may have been XL only though (XL, XLT, LARIAT).

All the 6's I've found were 2wd. Was the six ever offered in 4wd?

I think you could get a 4x4 V6 in XL trim. I think XLT & Lariat 4x4s came standard with an 8.

Also note, 5.4 V8 comes in Auto only. Manuals are also rare to begin with and more likely to see this in a regular cab.

Will you find a manual crewcab? Probably not unless you go to a F250 crewcab... but then you still have a V8 as a standard engine.

FYI, SUpercrew is the crewcab. In the F150, there is only the one model. This is the marketing name for the crewcab model.
