Hellwig Anti-Sway Bar Noise

Installed the rear anti-sway bar last week on my 2001 SCrew 4x4. I've retightened the bolts on the whole thing, but still every time I go over a curb it makes a loud clank. It's great on the highway, but not worth the noise going over bumps. Any help?

Not normal. I've got one on mine and there is no noise. I would check the axle clamps first. If these are loose they will slip on the axle and make a pop. I would also look at the frame side of the sway bar links to make sure that the brackets are tight to the frame. Make sure you have four washers per link and in the right position and that they are tightened until the bushings just start to buldge. Check the bar to make sure it is centered over the differential and that you have clearance on both ends of the bar through its entire travel path. I can't imagine too much more than that being wrong.
