Just sold my '03 Lightning and picked up my new '04 F-150 CrewCab FX4 - awesome truck!

My lightning had every imaginable bolt on including a Kenne Bell and she put down 496hp/562 torque to the rear.

I am not going to even pretend that the new 3 valve 5.4 in my new FX4 will ever compare, but are there performance mods out for this new engine yet?

What are they, where can I get them and what hp difference are you seeing?

I'm not an 04 F150 owner myself (97 4.6 myself), but I can tell you this; if you miss your supercharger, whipple has out a supercharger system for the 3 valve 5.4's. I don't have any numbers for the hp gains, but I can imagine it would be pretty significant. I believe Kenne Belle might have out one, too, but I'm not sure. You could probably check their website and see.

 

Thanks japickar, I have found a number of mods in the last few weeks including a Predator tune, so I am well on my way to some more hp and torque!
