Hey guys,

I've had nightmares about my console mounted 6-Disk CD changer in my '01 SC. It first started when it wouldn't eject. No CDDJ was displayed on the radio iteself. I removed it and finally got the CD "tray, holder, etc." out and removed the CDs. I lubed the main mechanical parts and reinstalled it.

The good news it, it WILL eject now.

Bad... It won't play!

Anyone know where I can just get a new one? Just the changer, not the in-dash part. Around how much would it run me?

Don't forget that another possible option is to get a replacement In-Dash CD6 radio that came with some of the models.

I have one from a '03 Supercrew that has about 6 months of use on it before I upgraded to an aftermarket unit.

I know you weren't asking about this, but I'm about ready to unload this thing on e-Bay. Figured I'd give a local F150 member an opportunity first.

Try your other routes (replacement unit from the dealer or whatever) then if it's too pricey for you, let me know. I may be willing to part with mine for about $120 bones. (going e-bay price).
