Is it coming from the front or the rear? Is it when you have the steering lock-to-lock, or just slightly turned?

Have you checked your engine belt tension to make sure it's not coming from there?

Could be many things, alignment, tires, just driving too fast.

Talking

I had the same problem over the first two weeks of owning my new to me Screw. The problem was simple, my tires were to low and I could not really visualize this by looking. Since then I have a compressor and make sure they are up to within 2-5 pounds of max pressure. Could also be the tire - try some good ole Bridgestone Dueller Revo's and you won't be sorry. i noticed when i first purchased my screw, inside the fuel door it lists what the tire pressure should be at for the front and rear when you have the 17" 265/70/17. they recommended 30 lbs in the front and 35 in the rear( if i recall correctly) the steering felt sloppy because there wasn't enough air in the front. i have all 4 at 35psi cold and i find it handles great. everytime i go to have the oil change i have to make sure and tell the service people not to touch the tire pressure. those clowns always bring them down to like 28-30psi cold all around. i found that out the first couple of times i had my service done. now i make sure to tell them to leave them alone.

i agree with the others it's more then likely pressure related.

I had the same problem with my '98 F150SC. Have them check your clutch packs in the limited slip if you have it. Mine were set too tight and the inside rear tire would squeal when going around corners.

Ok Guys an update to your questions.

I have Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tire on the truck.

This happens at a speed of 10 MPH. When I say corner I should be saying curve. Like a roundabout for the interstate or in parking lot going from one row to another. The steering is about a quarter the half turn. Not lock to lock.

Seems to be coming from the rear.

I have 37,000 miles on the truck.

Outside temp is 85-95 degrees.

I will try the tire pressure first. I am having a break job in the morning and I'll ask the mechanic about it but I would still like to be armed with more info.

Thanks Guys

Do you have a limited slip diff? They can do some goofy things on bare pavement whilst turning...

If the tire pressure is correct and your speed is not excessive....well I wouldn't worry about it.

Have fun and drive it.....

I am unsure about the limited slip. I got it used.

Know how to check?

I wouldn't worry except everyday on my way to an from work I make a curve/turn right next to a park and every thinks I am speeding through. Always turns people heads.

I know theres a way to check on the door jamb sticker- it should have a colume that says "axle" with a code. Get that code and post it here, and someone in this group will be able to tell you the axle ratio and wether it has LS. Hope this helps

I found out the trick- if, under the axle code, you have a letter and a number, it's a limited slip. If its two numbers, it's an open differential. Mines a H9, which is a 3.55 LS.

I have Limited Slip

According to my door Axle Code

I have a B6 on the door which means 3.73 LTD SLIP

So knowing its a limited slip can anyone determine my problem.

With it being limited slip I feel it shouldn't squeel when turning.

I guess I'll check with the dealer

Actually, it could be stuck locked.
