Rear Rotors

I am trying to remove the rear rotors from my "01 screw, seems like they are hanging up on something, possibly a groove was formed and the emergency brake pads are stuck in that groove. Looked into backing off the star wheel but the sucker wouldn't budge either way. Any ideas?

Squirt some PB blaster in the adj. hole at the star wheel. Do this several times letting it penetrate overnight.

Hopefully that will loosen them up.

They might be rusted on, in which case a little "BFH" persuasion might be the way to go. If you've got a mini torch you can try heating up the rotors around where it connects to the axle, to see if that will shrink the metal enough to work with.

I hammered mine off. Worked great.
