Does anyone know if headrests can be added to the rear seat on 2001?

My '02 S'crew has them and so I would suggest looking for a rear seat from an '02. Just a thought.

 

My 2001 Lariat Off Road 4X4 Screw was built in August of 2001 - one of the last to come off of the production line before the 2002's hit the market. They actually had converted some of the lines for the new model and mine came with some of the 2002 goodies already on it. On of those was the front and rear headrests. So they are available on some 2001's. And they slip in and out at will. I would try the dealer first just for information on availability. Good Luck - Semper Fi

 

My truck was built in February 2001, and I have the rear headrests in mine. My truck was a Gen III. or 3rd generation of the 2001 line. You would be looking for a Gen III version of the 2001 model year.

 

I have a 1998 Super Cap and I was able to slide the head rests from my Honda Odyssey in behind the top of the back seat. There's room to secure them nicely between the seat and the frame just below the window. My plans are to go to a salvage yard and match up the fabric. Shouldn't cost too much. My wife didn't appreciate my borrowing her head rests.
