supercrew bed size
what size bed is a 2002 screw considered to have. I assumed it to be a shorter in length but not width too. geez, does everthing have to be custom for the screw. i always hated that bout fords vs chevy's
4 feet wide, 7.5 feet long with tail gate down. Big enough for 4x8 sheet goods, plywood, sheetrock etc. I have actually carried 12 foot deck boards and lumber. I just pile the rest of my purchase near the cab to weigh down the boards to keep them from bouncing.
I ordered a gatorramp for a full size truck. Even though I don't have a step side..it's considered a step-side w/ a narrower tailgate. So one finds out that when ever ordering anything, one must specifically mention that it's a screw & not just a f150
According to MFR web site, the Gator Ramp for full sized pickups is 45" wide. I'm certian the Screw tailgate is wider than 45" to fit 4x8' material in there. Am I missing something?
yea, the top ramp plate is 45" but it's a telescoping set up. the top plate fits into the one beneath it & than those 2 slide into than next. etc. so by the time you add 4-5 plates plus the 2 siderails used for mounting you have grown in width by about 6"+.
