Tire Changing

I purchased a used 03 screw, but there was no owners manual. Just wondering if there is a special tool used to lower the spare tire, and also if there is a tool for removing the "hub cap". All I have in is the jack and lug wrench.

Look under your hood, and there should be a long metal pole clipped to the radiator cover. Unclip this, and the square/hooked end opposite the handle end slides into the hole next to the license plate. Slide it in all the way until it engages, and turn it left to lower the tire, and right to raise it.

Now, you may have a locking spare tire. If so, you'll need to look for a silver socket looking thing, and you'll pop that over the end of the pole. The slide that whole thing into the license plate hole.

If I recall correctly, there should be a flatheaded part on the wrench, and you should be able to pop the caps off with that.

Hope this helps
