Lariat question

I got a question about the trim on the larait's. All the lariats I've seen have the main color and along the bottom it is silver. Except mine. Mine is all one color with rocker panels. I like that cause it's different than the others. My wife thinks the previous owners had it changed but I don't , just cause there would seem to be some repainting to be done.

Two tone paint was an option for all trim lines.
Lariats were limited in colors and two tone choices due to the leather interior.

When I was shopping around for mine last year, my ideal truck would have been an all DSG Lariat. However, in the entire state of Florida, there were NONE to be found with the things I wanted. I searched inventory after inventory, and after a few weeks of that I ended up settling on a two tone DSG/silver combination.

It has everything I wanted, except for the paint. I don't really mind it, and I think it does help make the truck look less boxy and tall (or something). It looks a bit better after taking off all the imitation pinstriping, and I'm about to get rid of or paint the silver fender flare things.

In my search, most of the Lariats I saw were all two tone. A few here and there were all one solid color, but I think Ford paints most of the trucks with that trim level two tone

Oh well... still love my truck!

Tow tone paint is a stand alone option on most trim models. It seems like a larger portion of Lariats were made with two tone that other trim models. Mine is all dark highland green in WWW below.

My lariat is probably just like yours, Rocweiller.

The two-tone thing was an option just like Raoul said

02Screw....

Yup... same truck, just not a 4X4. I might try and paint the tops of flares grey for a better two-tone effect.
