Billet Fuel Door

Hi Guys,

I am wanting to get a billet fuel door for my Screw. However I am hearing that no one makes one that will fit without modification.

Is this true? If so, any of you Screw owners that have installed one successfully? How hard is it and what does it take to install?

TIA,

Jag

Someone on this site told me about the Blackwood gas door.

I went to L/M and purchased one. It bolts right on, two bolts, and looks good.

If you have a Pep Boys in your area run by there and look at them there. The model number is 201, only run $40 and the fit is super... Here's a shot of mine.

Thumbs up

RedS'Crew, thanks for the info and the pic. I saw that same fuel door at PepBoys last week. It looked very tempting....Now I'm convinced. Thanks!

Does Pep Boys have any brushed ones? I am looking for brushed vs polished.

TIA,

I did have to take out about 1/16" of plastic on the left side where it bolts in (for washers/spacer) but I used a file and was done in minutes. It's a trial and fit technique, you'll see it when you set it in.

Doesn't sound as bad as some I have heard of who have had to drill and use a dremel. Don't wanna do that to my truck.

Did you happen to stop by Pep Boys to see if they have any brushed ones?

Thanks again,

Jag

Jag, ran up and found out that they only have the polished ones!

72, I found them on Ebay under the decals, they are overlays no the whole emblem. Looks are deceiving...
