Anybody ever remove the plastic trim piece that goes around the rear seat interior lights? I'm painting some pieces and wanted to paint those as well.

I can get the whole housing out of the roof, but I can't separate the trim from the light housing....if anybody's done this, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
