Remote Antitheift Module or Central Security Module location on a 2001 Screw?????

I've been fighting to see if I indeed have the "key fob" (door locks) computer module in my XLT. I can't imagine an XLT coming without this.... however, the owners manual has the phrase "if so equipped" when talking about programming new keyfobs, which is what I'm trying to do..... so how do I tell.....?

Tried to enter "program mode again, key on/off in rapid succession 8 times, doors should lock, then push new fob (any) button and when the module recognises it, it unlocks the doors to indicate that it has accepted the new fob. Repeat for next fob..

I don't get the "entering program mode" door lock action, and am wondering where I can find this module. Somewhere in the archives I read to look for a white(ish) module up to the left near the e-brake lever...... I see nothing of the sort..... This would also carry a 5 digit code for the keyless entry.... nada....

Anyone have the EVTM manual that may indicate where this moduel is and how it may affect operations if it was removed?

Again, I perhaps incorrectly am asuming that an XLT would be fairly loaded.... I don't have power seats, so perhaps this is part of the deleted option?




I did get a chance to check my "low fuel" yesterday. Looks like I put in just a tad over 22 gallons, so must be about a 4 gallon reserve or so.
