sorry newb question

i usually post in the lightning forum but cannot afford one yet, but i found a 2002 f-150 , it says its an XL model, what is the difference between the XL and the XLT? thanks guys

i know its the base model, i meant what are the specific differences, what does the XLT have that the XL doesnt???

That would vary. XLT’s can have as many options as a Lariat. Your going to have to look at the truck and see what it has. XL's usually have rubber floor covering instead of carpet and hardly any luxury options at all. They are still very good trucks and worth a look.

Yes, it does vary by year. Check for grey steel wheels, grey painted bumpers and grill, manual bench seat, manual windows, manual door locks, manual mirrors, cruise, tilt, tachometer, AM/FM 2 speaker radio, overhead console, tailgate lock, etc.
