I'm hoping to get a cap for my 2001 F150 Screw Lariat and didn't know if anybody had any opinions of the better brands, lowest costs and best looks on these. Pricing is definately an issue but I don't want to jeopardize quality either. I guess locally is the way to go w/ these but am not sure if national brands that are suggested would be represented here near Baltimore, MD. Any suggestions on these?

 

Leer 100XQ or ARE Z series--both look awesome!

You might want to check out the Raider line also. They are a quality cap with a great warranty. I am not sure if they are sold in your area though.

Just did the cap thing with a month of research.

The coolest looking ones are ARE Z, SnugTop XTR and Leer 100 XQ.

Things I found out...

SnugTops are the most expensive and take longer to get.
Also they have the built in roof racks if ya like them.
I did not plus they did not fit in my garage.

Leer 100XQ has cool looking side windows and usually have a delivery time of 6 weeks.

The A.R.E are the most sold and they are the largest. They have the best warranty also.
The coolest feature I liked was the keyless entry tied into the factory locks.
So the tail locks when the car locks, etc.
They also have a 2 week max build time.


I went with the ARE Z but you can't go wrong with any of the above!!!
