Unhappy lighting problem

2001 supercrew 4X4 5.4L 169000 miles.

While towing my bass boat yesterday, I seam to have gotten an elictrical problem.

1 No dash lights.
2 No parking lights.
3 Break lights do work.
4 Turn signals work.
5 Headlight Hi/Low work.
6 Fog lights work.

Ok now here is the big one. When I got home I could not turn off the headlights! I had to unhook the battery cable.

Could this be a fuse or do I have a real problem?

Sounds like a short to me. Did you back your tail end to far into the water? Let it dry out and reconnect your battery cable to see if the problem goes away. I would also take a look under your truck to see if you got the wires tangled on anything. You might have a blown fuse for the lights that are not coming on. Take a look in your manual and see which fuse those lights are on and then check to make sure the fuse did not blow.
