Question 20" or 22"

I am buying some rims and tires for my 01 SuperBrew. I was wondering if anyone had had this size rim on and if they had any probs going down the highway. I am getting 50 series tires because i tow a 20ft bassboat also. I'm leaning towards the 20's due to practicality but the 22's do look sweet. Thanks for any input/ advice.

I recently was going through the same dilemna. I have selected a set of 20" rims for my truck, but then ran across a sweet deal on some 22's. After reading some posts on this board, it seemed that more people were happier with the 20's due to ride quality. Also, when I started pricing out tires, 22" tires average over $100 more each than a set of 20's.

Therefore, I will be ordering 20 x 9's with 275/45/20 tires next week. Can't wait!!!

P.S. If anyone is interested in a set of 18" Lightning replica wheels for $400 + shipping, let me know.

What shape are the rims in? Any scratches? Where would you be shipping from? I live in Houston, Tx.

That was a nice job you did on the sub woofer. I have a 96 F150 extended cab with very little room under the rear seat so I had to fabricate a box that would fit behind the drivers seat with the front of the box tapered at an angle to allow the drivers seat back to fully recline back and a wedge shape portion of the box extends underneath the rear seat to allow for the cubic inch of volume that the sub required. The stereo installation places suggested ripping out the rear seat and building a box or putting a box in the middle behind the console. Neither of those were good options because my kids ride in the back and I did not want anything in the way. My sub is firing down also and works very well. My other problem was to find amps that were no wider than 7 inches wide to go on the floor under the rear seat and still be out of sight. I have 200 watts going to the 4 speakers and 100 watts going to the sub. It sounds pretty good to me. My son can't wait for me to pass the truck down to him in February when he turns 16.
