Question Screw owners

In the next couple of days, I am purchasing a 03 XLT Screw. 14k with the 4.6. I don't tow or haul, so that engine is fine for me.
I do have a question for you current owners. Is there anything I need to be on the look out for or get serviced right away?

The reason I ask this is because I am still the owner of a 97 F-150 4.2. The engine had the hydro lock and died. Problem could have been avoided for a couple hundred $'s. I haven't found anything like this on the Screws, but I knew you guys would know.

Thanks

I had a 99 Supercab with the 5.4L 0-70k miles. Now an 03 Screw 0-16k miles. I changed the plugs in the 99 at 60k miles. That was the only maintenance other than coolant, and filters I can think of. I canot think of anything to check on that new truck other than the air filter. Maybe the fuel filter since they are cheap and easy to replace.

the 4.6 is by most accounts, bulletproof.

The hydolock situation was a V6 problem. The piston slap was an issue with the 5.4. I do not know of any terrible issues with the 4.6.
