Hi guys, long time lurker, first time poster. I am getting close to buying a used SuperCrew, and found one that I really like everything about it -- BUT one thing. It is the 5 seater (bucket seats and center console) and I really do want a 6 seater (split front bench).

Is there any sort of product out there to replace the center front console with a jump seat? Sort of like the setup in a Chevy Avalanche? (they call it 40/20/40 bench)

If not, I'll probably keep on looking.

you may be able to make a trade...with another truck owner or even a bone yard. Buckets are usually a little more sought after than benches. If you like the truck, and you don't find another you like as much, buy it and look for a trade

I have a 2001 SCREW with the bench seat in the front. My interior is grey and I was thinking about changing to the center console with bucket seats. What color is your interior and what year is your truck. Maybe we could make some sort of trade. Thanks

 

What year is the truck? What color is the interior? I have 2007 xlt with the 40/20/40 split and am actually looking for a center console. Maybe we could work a trade. I have tan cloth interior.

 

I have a Tan cloth interior, but there is one problem. The Center console isn't has various holes drilled in it for equipment and switches. I wouldn't feel right trying to trade it with someone. I also don't want to give it away because I want to retain the option to switch back if I don't like having the seat there. What I'm really looking for is a way to keep the bucket seats, just add a seat in the middle. It doesn't need to be really comfortable, just be able to fit a small person if the need arises so that I don't need to cram two people onto a bucket seat with one seatbelt.

Does anyone know where I can find something like this, or should I try to fab it up myself using a seat out of another truck?
