Has anyone ripped the guts out of their Clarion Camo sub and replaced the sub and used an external amp. I am thinking about going with a JL 8" and complementing it with a JL Amp (not sure which one). I am not dead set on using JL but I have been impressed with them in the past.

So, with that said, if any of you have any pros and cons or pitfalls that you encountered if you tried this please pass them on.

I have an '03 Screw and still want to fold my seat down and have use of the console so that is why I am making an attempt to go this route.
