Questions about cut-throughs and other things

I have a 2000 Supercrew and wanted to ask some questions about it. I know pretty much nothing about trucks, the only car I have ever owned has been Honda's. My first question is, if I was to cut one large hole in the back of my cab and one in the front of my bed would the truck lose any of its structual integrity?? I wanna do a 14cu.ft. box in my bed for 2 18's and have the 18's firing into the cab right behind the back seats. What are the draw backs to cutting a hole into the cab?? How do you do it properly??

Also, I dont like my front or rear bumpers and was wondering if I would be able to swap them with some bumbers from a Harley Davidson Supercrew?? I would also like a center console that connects with my dash like the Harley Davidson consoles do, can those be swapped into my Supercrew also?? I also plan on getting 24" rims in the future and was wondering how much you think I could lower my truck without it rubbing on the 24's?? I dont want to slam it or anything I just make it so I only have a couple fingers of gap between the rims and fenders. Thanx for any help, I really dont know much about these trucks but I do love them!!

If you are planning on using the truck as a show-truck or just on the road you could cut the hole. sealing it all back up from the elemants would be the challange.

all the other parts that you mentioned will swap over if you run across them.

as far as big subs, if you are going that drastic may want to pull out/raise the rear seats and stuff 3 15"s in there firing down.

more thoughts on the Audio section of the board i'm sure...

I work as a car audio installer so this truck will be more off a store car that I drive home than a show truck. Mostly just be shown in DB drags. But I will need it to tow my 2 jet-ski's and my 19' boat to the lake. But there will be no off-roading in this truck. Your something if you think Iam going off pavement on 24's!!

How much does the bed and cab twist?? I was just thinking of welding it closed but that probably wont work if they move alot. What other options do I have for sealing it off??

Trust me these 2 18's will be louder than 90% of of other set-ups out there. Iam going with 2 Viper 2500d amps powering 2 RE XXX 18" woofers in a 15cu. ft. box ported to 28hz. Trust me, this is WAAAAAY more SPL than anyone would ever need. This set-up will murder you at 1/4 volume. 5000 watts is enoguh to make you bleed from the ears!!
