Question full power windows in back

First timer!! I have been reading through lots of posts for someone to talk about installing a power back window, not a slider, a full window that goes down, but not a stitch from anyone!!! Don't tell me I'm the ONLY one who would like to have one. Any Ideas? I have an '02 screw shortbead 4x4, and DAMN proud of it!

I remember back somewhere around '98 when i had a beefed up F150 on 35"Mickey T's lifted and too many other options to list pulling up behind a nice lookin' F150. My truck was black and his was white(can ya smell the irony) and then he proceeded to lower the back window...It was cool!! Somebody has to do it. If bronco's had them, why not us?

Doesn't the "Exploder" Sport-trac have some thing like that?

Not sure about that. I've been told that I can probably go aftermarket(like a sun roof) and get it done. Just don't want to end up another statistic of a custom job gone bad! Anyone out there with a factory back window that goes down?

Scottie...

This has been discussed SEVERAL times on here and I think the general consensus is that it was going to be a BEAST to make happen...

You might try doing a few searches within the fourms to see if you can dredge up some of those old threads.

To date, I know of no one that has successfully done this...

Good luck though. If you do decide to take it on, I know there'd be a SLEW of people VERY interested in how you've done it...

Rockpick,
Did lots of reading, but no luck...you mean to tell me with all the talent and resources that this site has that NOBODY has accomplished this!!! OUCH!! As always, my eyes are always bigger than my stomach. C'mon, someone has to make this happen...I put out a challenge to ALL aftermarket companies...make this happen and you will NOT be sorry, oh by the way... (I want 30%)

Yup. That's what I'm saying. I know I've seen it around and mentioned several times and on various Ford Truck sites but, it's never become a reality to my knowledge...

Yep, the sport trac has it. Actually, about 80% of the window goes up/down. There are 2 small window sections on each side that are stationary. My wife had a sport trac, and its a really cool feature that I wish they would start putting on the trucks.
