Slight door rattle

Slight door rattle

i have a rattle in the door that i can "fix" by lightly tapping the window down. i was wondering what i could do to stop the rattle. when i replace the stock spkrs i was think of putting that soundproffing in the doors would that help??i have 38000 and i got the extended warranty to 100000 would the warranbty cover that? thanks

A number of us have run into this too

In my case as well as others.................

It is nothing more than tightening the screws on the bottom of the door panel. You really have to get DOWN and look at the bottom of the door panel to see the screws. I wouldn't over tighten them cuz I don't know what they screw into exactly, but just snug'em up. I'll be the rattle quits immediately.

After running my truck in the mountains four wheeling and on dirt roads with a fair amount of courderoy mine begin to rattle a bit too.

Just tighten those screws and see if that fixes it. It solves my rattle for about 6-8 months.

I had the SAME thing on both front doors. 18 seconds later, after tightening the screws, it was fixed.

I agree with the others. tightening the screws got rid of my rattles.

guess i'll have to check my screws. my door panels will rattle at a certain temp range...otherwise they are fine...
