Unhappy anyone having washer pump problems

Is anyone having problems with thier windsheild washer pump coming on when it wants too. I have a 2001 F150 SC and I have had my truck in twice to have this problem fixed . I am about 6000 miles from my warrenty running out and my pump is pumping again. I'm worried that once the warrenty runs out the problem will start costing me . I have been kicking around the idea of trading it in for another F150 SC of course. If you have had this problem let me know what they did to fix it.
Thanks
Patrick

windshield washer pump has been pretty good to me. No problems here, granted I only use it about once a week. Have 6300 miles on the truck.

Talk about digging up an old thread!!! Heh...my truck has 93,000 miles on it now~~~ Samirar....most likely, your multi-function switch (left stick on the steering column) is going bad, or has a lot of dirt in it. You can do a quick search on the forum for tips on cleaning or replacing. I believe you can pick one up new at your local autoparts store.
