Question How do you remove those smoked trim pcs. over the windows ??

Im looking at a white Screw and it has those smoked plastic window trim pcs.made by Ford. They look to be on with double side tape,is there an easy way to remove these. They look kinda cheesy I think, what do you guys think ? Also the bug shield is smoked grey would it look better being white ? Where can you buy good quality painted ones ? The bug shield is a Ford product too. Anyone wanna buy these if I take them off

If you want to keep the bug deflector, I suggest you remove it, sand it down with a extra fine sanding sponge, go to your nearest auto paint store and ask them to make up a spray bomb(can) of gloss white to match your truck. Probably a total cost of 20 bucks.
Just my 2 cents

Cool

If you are talking about vent visors that are attached to the truck with double-back tape, use monofilament fishing line to remove them.

Work it between the visor and the paint like a piece of dental floss between 2 teeth.

It helps if you can do this in a warm place. It softens the tape...

Wink Yup im talking about the Ventshades

seems as though the vent shades look kinda cheesy, don't you think ? The bug deflector (Ford) seems huge compared to the one I have on my s/c . I will advise if I buy the truck.Thanks. Still trying to decide if I need the Screw as I have no kids and rarely ride with anyone. i use my truck to tow a bassboat so its usually just me and a fishing partner but I love the looks of the Screw.

Once you get Screw there no going back, I love My SuperCrew and don't think i would ever buy a 2 door or ext Cab agian, having the Room inside is great and as for the shorter bed that did not stop me from hualing 12 foot boards and post to build my deck this summer, and for the real big stuff I have a 6X8 Trailer with Ramps and the 5.4 Screw pulls with eas Just my thought. An if you have a dog they love to ride in the back seat...
