Anyone use the New In-Channel VentVisor for Supercrew (made by Auto Ventshade)???
I have been eyeing the WeatherTech VentVisor (in-channel) for the 'Screw...
however, I recently found out that Auto Ventshade is making an in-channel version... (fits in the channel, and does use a small strip of tape).
The Auto Ventshade version does not have the extension leg that others do (covering the innermost view of the mirror)
Any thoughts?

I just got the WeatherFlectors for my S'crew and absolutely love them. My brother in law got the in channel ventvisors for his Chevy and I noticed they seem to stick out, away from the window, much more than my weatherflectors.
My vote is for the weatherflectors!

Go for the Weathertechs I have had both brands before and love the Weathertechs because they seem to have a better quality fit and finish and they are lightly tinted as aposed to being almost black as on the Ventshade brand.

I just bought a set of stampede in channel and love the look of them. They are much better than the ones i have had in the past. The only problem is that you do lose some visibility in your passenger mirror. Over all they look great.
I am looking to replace my stick on Vent Shades do to the fact they are coming unstuck and they create alot of wind noise and they also rattle and buzz. do you notice an increase of wind noise with the in channel vent shades, any other buzzing or annoying noise? How do you install the in channel vent shades? is double stick tape required?
Thanks!

I've got the in-channel AutoVentShades on my reg cab. and love them. I prefer the darker tint. Works just like my windsheild eyebrow tint. Mine have no tape, and fit great not problems at all. I however got the same set to put on Mom's Edge, and hers went in the channel, but used tape. They did not extend down in front of the mirrors... but their still holding, and she loves them too...

Had them for two months
I have and like them, but during this cold weather the screeching sound when the window is rolled up is like fingernails on a chalkboard. I'm hoping with warmer weather and more breakin time that will go away.
Thefoyboy, Mine did the exact same thing the first winter I had them. Here is the solution: spray some WD- 40 in the window channel on the pastic part of the Weathertech and roll your window up and down a few times to lubracate the channel. it should take care of the problem for good. only thing is youmay have to wash your windows a few times until the WD-40 soaks in
yeah, I agree. The in channel appears to look better. My VentVisors are starting to peel away after only 6 months! They are actually coming loose from the visor, not ont he truck body.
** SO, how does one remove the stuck tape that refuses to come off ??
I'm ready for a change with these.
Thanks...

Flscrew, you can try rolling the tape off with your thumb but it will hurt after a bit (thumb) Any remaing adhesive can be loosed with bug and tar remover or WD-40. You can also purchase what they call an Eraser Wheel that can be attached to a drill it is used the bodyshop industry for taking off pin stripe and molding tape works fast and will not harm the paint if you don't hold it in one place to long.
