Power Door Lock failure
I hate to say but my first problem has occured. The rear door power lock has malfunctioned on the drivers side. It is in the locked position and cannot be unlocked electrically or manually from inside. All 3 other door power locks work fine. Guess I will be going to the dealer tomorrow unless some one has a quick fix.
Smithy - before you go to the dealer, check to make sure the child lock was not accidently engaged. If you open the door and look at the "back" of the door, there is a child lock. I had this happen the other day - figured out that it had probably been hit when I had the truck washed.
It sounds like all the problems you are having would not likely be caused by cold weather. I've had doors and locks freeze up but atleast something would always still work even if I couldn't get the door open or unlocked. Good luck at the dealer. Let us know what you find out.
I may be having a piece of humble pie today. On the way to the dealer to get the power door lock fixed, just before turning down their street I gave the power locks a few quick flicks and the one that has not worked was working! The mechanisim was proboably frozen. It has not gotten above freezing for several days now, but maybe the heat from inside the truck got to it. Bottom line is it is fixed, no need to put it in the shop. I am happy again.

Hey, glad it fixed itself - probably something with the famous "Ford" wiring. You know the one-touch down window on the driver's side?? Mine quit working for about a week and then all of a sudden it started working again. Couldn't connect mine with the temp, though.
I have the same problem on my brand new 2004 Supercrew... what a disappointment -- not even a month on the road (700 miles on it) and both rear doors would not open suddenly. On one of them I was able to manually pull up the lock and open the door (almost as if the automatic mechanism did not have enough power to push it all the way up) -- but the other door is still jammed locked... I see the lock moving up and down, but it's not rising high enough to unlock the door. The temps here have been in the 20s... but please.... if Ford trucks don't work at this temperature they're a piece of sh***t.
I'll be going to the dealer and it sucks... they better not make me pay my warranty detuctible.
