Tonneau Covers

I have this posted in the bedliner forum, but thought I would post here as well since I'm looking for my Screw.

Has anyone had the chance to purchase these new covers? Looking for feed back. They look like the best option in covers.

Undercover

Thanks
:santa:

I'm not sure how new they are but I purchased one earlier this your for my '02 Supercrew and so far have no problems. I would have to agree that this is the best looking cover as long as you like basic black. They are light, easy to remove, have a double lock system and cover the factory bed rail, thus filling all my requiremensts. One last thing the price was right. I ordered mine from Truck Bed Covers in Maine, would recommend them.

Ive posted these pics before....
Undercover is best cost/value cover you can get. Locks, easy to remove, hard cover, and looks great. I understand they have improved the design, and now it covers the complete rail. (I have the old style which cuts straight across). Highly recommend.

I'll "second" what ryan.posey and dgscrew said. It's an awesome cover. Two friends that have soft tonneau covers have replaced theirs with the Undercover unit after seeing mine. The only thing I would like is a single locking/unlocking point but that's no major deal.

ryan.posey, thanks for once again posting your pictures. I remember seeing them a while back when I was doing my initial search. After seeing them the first time I knew that was the cover for my truck. By the way I have the newer type cover which you discuss. It covers the complete rail with only a slight flare at the front so the cover will miss the bed as it is raised.

Thumbs up

Thank for the pictures of this cover. I've had my eye on it for a bit and do plan on ordering one this spring. I've got a couple of web sites with this cover marked for now.

Question

I have an Extang soft cover on my Supercrew now. It came on the truck when I bought it. My buddy has a hard cover on his and I've seriously been thinking about switching. I like this one a lot. Does anyone know if it can be painted to match the truck's color? My truck is black so I guess it's not that big a deal but was just wondering. Thanks.

Akita, I believe that the covers being talked about in this thread cannot be painted to match. I looked at a number of covers, including the Undercover, but decided I liked the "paint to match" look the best. I bought an ARE LSII cover and love it. If your interested see my gallery for pics. Good luck.

Does anyone have any pics of the undercover on a black screw?

I don't want it to stand out too much....

Also, when carrying cargo that's higher than the bed rails, do most of you take off the lid, or do you strap it down?

Thanks
Dan
