I have a 2003 Supercrew. Does any one know how to reprogram the computer to allow the back doors to unlock after the truck has been put in park. Is this even possible?

 

I dont believe they unlock without using the electric door lock or using your remote, by depressing the unlock button twice within 5 seconds.

Are you aware that you can deactivate the automatic locking of all doors? The procedure is located in your owner's manual. I did mine within the first year of ownership.

Otherwise, I don't know of any existing procedure to accomplish what you want.

I know what you are asking about and it is possible. Some employees of my dad's hate the fact that the doors don't unlock when you park on the '03s. He made the dealer reprogram the "brain" to unlock the doors when you shut the truck off.

They also turned off the seatbelt warning when you don't have it buckled...why he did this I don't know.
