Unhappy I Need Help!

I need help bad. I have a 2003 Supercrew FX4. I was out hunting this am and had an accident. In four years of Military exp. as an Infantryman and 4 years as a cop, I have never had an accidental discharge. Well, until this am. I was stupid and for some ungodly reason didn't check my safety. (Been a helluva week w/ OT and no sleep) I had my .12 gauge laid across my back seat to load quietly and accicentally snagged the trigger. GO ahead and laugh. Ok, now, .00 buck went through the inside door panel and out the through the outside door. I need a new inner panel. I have a nice size hole on the outside of the door just under the door handle on the right rear door. The door itself is ok, as far as window, lock, window motior is concearned. It was a through and through shot. I need some advice. I gotta get my baby fixed. Too bad theres no icon here with an ostrige burying his head in the dirt. I feel ashamed and humiliated. I have got to get this fixed. Ins. deductable is $500.00. Looking to see if I can get it done for under that. If anyone can lend me some serious advice, I'd ever so greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Look around some salvage yards for needed parts.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but they should be able to tell you over the phone if they have any 03 f150s.

That sucks....sh*t happens

Sorry to hear about your accident. Count your blessings though - it could have been much worse if there had been a hunting buddy there instead of a door. Hang in there - good luck on finding the parts, but I doubt you will be able to get out for under $1500 so I would carry it to professional and let them repair it back to OEM standards. Good luck!

I once heard that if you take a car with a bullet hole to a body shop they have to call the cops. Maybe thats just in SoCal though.

Thanks for all the help gentlemen. I should be good to go. I took it to the dealer where I bought it. I know a mgr. there. He's squaring me away. GOnna be around $650. for everything.
They have to call the cops here too, but he didn't bother. If he would have picked up the phone, it would have been the quickest response time in history for him.

Ok, just an update on my truck. The dealer fixed it for me. One of the managers there is a friend of the family, so he took care of it. It cost me about $300.00 to fix. I didn't take pictures, however, if I ask around, I'm sure someone at the dealer has a couple in their scrapbook. They patched it and you can't even tell that it ever happened. My truck was looking beautiful until a couple of weeks ago when some jackass was hauling *** down the road, lost control of his truck and slamed into my driverse side door and front corner panel. At last count from the dealer was about $8000.00 in damage. I am pissed. So far it's only cosmetic. I'm glad I was driving that and not my focus. If I was in my focus, I probably wouldn't be here right now. The roads were terrible, all ice. He got the ticket, hell, I was minding my own business on my way home from work. I have pictures of that damage, just no way to upload them. Were keeping the truck though. My dad was trying to talk me into tradinf for a Sport-track or an Escape. NOPE! I LOVE my truck. Thinking about sprucing it up a bit. Anyway, thayts the sit-rep with my truck.k, just an update.
