I'm new to the sight, but glad I found it. I suppose I'm fortunate in that my 2002 screw has the 4.6 rather than the 5.4. I have over 26k on it and haven't had any of the head-gasket,plug, or balljoint problems listed as some of the defects. I have noticed that my rear window seal has started to separate. The entire window is also shifted so that there is about a 1/2 inch difference in the spacing of the right & left upper corners. The seal is only on the 02 models. Both problems, from looking at other similiar models, seem to be common. Any feedback

 

Well, I have the 5.4 and I'm glad that I didn't go with the 4.6 so...

Anyways... your window issue is a VERY VERY VERY common problem. It'll be a warranty issue. Take it to your stealership.

Are you talking about the rear passenger door windows, or the back window of the cab.

I'm new. What is this separation issue?

On the back window of the cab on the passenger side the window seal is not stuck down next to the body as well as the driver's side. Is this the issue? Is it a common problem? Will it continue to get worse?
