Do they make a rear window defroster for the f 150 ?

I was told that it was a factory option only, not a aftermaket add in by my dealer

I'm sure that a dealership would add it on.... I'm pretty sure that it's not cheap though.

In Canada the dealers tell me they can't order it from Ford, that it had to come from the factory installed/ordered.

I understand what you're saying but, you mean to tell me that if they have one go bad under warranty that they can't replace it? I don't believe it...

Get another dealer opinion...

Any Joe Blow walking in off the street, theoretically, should be able to order any part off of any vehicle on the lot. Why is the defrost special?

I believe the issue has to do with wiring the window in a truck not configured with defrost from the factory
