EGR Took a dive...

Check Engine Light went on. Hooked up the diagnostic which said "Insufficient EGR."

Think its the valve? Wheres it at? Ever had to replace it?

Help! Seeing that Service Engine Soon light is like a waving flag out of the corner of my eye and I dont trust the dealership.

P.S> How do I post a pic of my truck here at the end so I can look like a cool guy too?

EGR valve is most likely not the problem the most common thing that would cause the code for low egr flow is a faulty DPFE sensor (only available at the dealer) this sensor reports egr flow rate to the pcm(onboard computer) I have replaced many of these on late model Ford's I cant recall having to replace a egr valve on one of these,if you have real high milage the egr portd may need cleaning.

Thanks for the info. Do you know about how much they are and where it is located on the vehicle (ease of repair)?

Thanks again.
