Wanted to ask this question in forum with owners of pre-2004 F150s: What is your opinion of the new body style and engine (especially FX4 package)?

I have driven the new 2004 FX4. Has a great ride but feels sluggish off line. Love the interior design, but hate the seats (especially rear 'Crew bench compared to current style). Some exterior styling elements work, some don't but then I think the current style works all around (especially SuperCrew).

Anyway, just curious what owners of outgoing truck think.

Parts of the new body style work for me...I don't care for the huge Ford oval on the rear gate, but I love the interior front half of the screws. Looks really nice and comfy for the road trips.

Honestly didn't look at the back bench, but maybe I'll stop by a dealer on a sunday and check on out. (I don't want them trying to make me buy one!)
