Well I had a similar thing that happened to my truck when some idiot ran into me (of course no insurance). My truck went strait to the shop, and when I got it back the steering wheel was off centered. So I asked about it and got mixed answers...some said things werent bent/broke/stripped...others said an alignment would fix it. So I went to the shop and told them about it and they said the insurance company wouldnt cover it...because they concider it to be matience...I told them it wasn't off center before the truck was in a wreck...well long story short I finally got them to take in it at THEIR cost (no way was I paying for something else that was caused by the wreck, for which I all ready had to pay for, which wasn't even my fault) and the alignment fixed it. I wouldn't try to take the wheel off as I was told it would set off ther airbag sensors, which would cause some problems...

So the only real way to fix the wheel I think is to get a proper alignment.

Hmmm that is pretty frustrating. Maybe I need to go to a front end shop specialist.

At this point tho, I have wasted enough time and money. I think I may wait until next year for its next alignment....

Alignlment

I have an '02 S'crew w/47000+ miles and have had no alignment problems. My first set of tires were Generals and ran true for 43000 miles. If I wanted to insure a "true" alignment, I would go to an "alignment specialist" @ a "Front End Shop". Good luck
