Here is my report back on the Loadhandler:

Borrowed Dad's truck, yesterdays load 2.96 tons, of #8 river rock, todays load 2.35 (didn't need as mcuh) - SuperDuties Rule the truck wasn't sitting on the bump stops w/ todays load - I wasn't able to check yesterday, but I don't think it was on the bump stops. V-10s kick a$$!

With full loads on, the loadhandler was useless, after I shoveled quie a bit off, it worked like advertised. I'm guessing I was able to start cranking the load off w/ about 1 ton left in the bed - more than enough for our F150s, but not good enough for the bigger loads. I bent the handle on the crank trying to turn the handle before I had enough of the load off.

Oh, and the SuperDuties don't have the lip on the tailgate like our F150s do. the gravel is able to fall between the bed and the tailgate, and between the body and the bumper. I had small mounds of gravel where the loadhandlers tarp didn't cover the sides of the bed. I was able to sweep the last of gravel out of the bed, and let it fall between the bed and tailgate.
