AMSOil

I don't want to start any debates on oil here, but just for everyone's info, AMSOil makes a synthetic 5w-20 oil. On their web site, it's 5.20 a quart, but if you sign up for their prefered membership, it's like $20 a year, and the price drops to $3.95 a qt. I purchased a membership when I changed my transmission fluid, and now for oil. They have a ton of products, personally I like them.

Messman24, I just switched to AMSoil, and plan on going about 5000 miles between changes. I tow regularly, so I like to change regularly and early. They say you can go 7500 miles between changes. As far as filters, I use the motorcraft filter.
On the ATF, I bought a filter from the local autoparts store. I sugesstion, take a good look at your pan first, and count the bolts. I was given two wrong filters before they found the right one. With their ATF fluid you can go 90,000 miles between changes. I will plan on about 50k though.

You really need to use an AMsoil filter, ralderman

They go hand and hand.

They have been rated better than Wick.

I'll have to give them a try next time I order. Do you have a part number?

Thanks,

Rick
