I got really tired of fighting the oil filter on my 4x4 when doing oil changes. Got a kit from Summit for around $38.00 and put it on the truck. I bought heavier oil line clamps cause the ones that came with the kit were a bit too small to suit me. I put the oil filter in the front left fender well in front of the tire. Then I got some sheet metal and made a protective cowling to fit over the filter. It was a kind of a pia to run the oil lines as the front of these trucks is loaded with equipment and there isn't much room in there. Anyway, its done and man its a pleasure to change oil now This is really something to consider if you do your own oil changes.

 

Yeah the first time was a real pita for me also. It took me an hour how to teach my wife how to change the oil the correct way. Now she is done lickety split.
