Bilstiens for s'crew

I looked at Shoxshop online and they list a set of four bilstiens for the s'crew for $249. Does anyone know if these are the right set for fairly heavy offroad as I use my truck to hunt with in rough stuff. Are these the best choice for this application? Thanks.

I got my Bilstiens from a place in IN, and I got my dad's from off road warehouse. I forget which was cheaper, but they were close in price.

The Bilstien is a good shock, that does not produce a smooth ride by any means. I got it as I wanted to augment the rear anti-sway bar and the 285/60R18s. Carves corners with the best of them now ( that is what I was after ).
Tonight I had some pin head that could not keep up the pace on a tripple switch back off ramp in his 'marrow. I wondered where his Mullet was at, the way he was driving

For off road use, lots seem to prefer the Rancho shocks on a 4WD, maybe a search on rancho would produce the threads.

Good lcuk with the quest on the shocks, hope you get what you want. The Bilstien seems to be more of a road shock, vs an off road shock.

Bilsteins are great shocks and will last the life of your truck plus. I have a set as well. Just goto their website and it will tell you the part numbers for your truck you can also go to www.offroadwarehouse.com and find the right ones. The price is about the same everywhere you go.

They are a much stiffer ride than any other shock out there. But for stoping and cornering I don't think they can be beat. Now offroading they don't give that much but if you disconnect the anti-sway bar on the front it makes it a much much! nicer ride. Almost like night and day plus it only takes 3-5 minutes to take them off or put them back on.
