cpomputer reset question
Hello,
Just got around to trying to reset my computer 2 weeks after perf. mods. of FIPK and Bassani Xhaust. Took off negative lead, turned headlights on (they DID not come on). Left head light switch on for
10 minutes. Reconnected terminal. Had to reset clock. There was no change in idle or RPM as I let the truck sit running for 10 minutes to learn new settings. My concerns are: (1) does it matter that the headlights did not come on?
(2)No change in idle or RPM.
Is this vbecause of the 2 delay in the reset and the computer had all ready learned?
TIA,

The headlights won't come on. It's to help insure that you drain the backup current from the computer.
You may not notice an RPM change. The computer has to relearn your driving style as well . It may take a couple hundred miles.
Relax everything will be OK .
