Has any one had a problem with the lumbar adjustment not working?
Well mine doesn't work.
All I do is turn the ****, and the seat does not come out.
Can any one tell me what the fix is for this or can you tell me how this is supposed to work?

Do a search for lumbar support. There are a few threads that describe how to fix it.

Basically it is a bicycle brake cable that runs from the **** to the lumbar support. You have to pull the **** off...I used a towel and gave it a sharp pull...it came off. There are 2 screws that hole the **** assembly. Remove the assembly and you have access to one side of the cable. You will see the end resembles a bicycle cable. Then you lift up the seat cover...you will see the cable. It is probably broken. You just need to get a bicycle cable and run it thru just like the cable that is currently there.

You will need a clamp to hold the cable at the end of the lumbar support as well. I got both the universal bike cable and clamp at the local Ace Hardware store....about 3 bucks.

I got the lower half a part, but how do you get the seat cover off?? I see the cable in there, and it moves OK. So the problem is at the other end.
The seat cover has the black plastic piece. How does that come a part?
And then will the cover lift off?

 

The plastic piece at the bottom of the seat is 2 J hooks...that interlock. You have to separate them. Then lift the seat cover up. If you look close at the bottom of the seat, you should be able to see how they interlock...just pry them apart.

I took it a part and found the cable was too long. Used a carborator throtle clamp to pull the cable tight.
Know it works again.
