Cover for a Supercrew?

Anyone know a good place to find a reasonably priced cover for a 01 Supercrew? I am looking for something that will protect from the elements, custom fit. I am at work right now looking out as the storm is rolling in, and I have outdoor parking. Please don't hail, please don't hail.

Thanks!

That looks decent, will it protect from the hail? Do you have one of these? Just wondering. Seems like the price is reasonable.

When I had my old '97 Expedition repaired from hail damage the body shop guy told me that if I had just put a blanket over it it would have helped a tremendous amount. I think the cover will help a good deal but may not do it 100%.

I don't have one, just remember seeing it when shopping for something else. I doubt that canvas or vinyl or similar material will protect from hail damage.

Being one that follows 'King Ranch' on ebay quite frequently I can tell you that the cover your looking at sells like gangbusters. Of course, I've never contacted any of the buyers to see what they thought but, in a nutshell, this guy is selling a BUNCH of these.

I have that one from ebay at $99. It is very heavy duty AND HEAVY. I bet it weighs a good 30 lbs. I imagine it would be damn heavy if rain soaked but it should offer some good protection. I just use it to keep the dust off during the winter when the screw is tucked away in the garage.

RockPick, which version of the covercraft did you get? I see the Noah and a few other versions. Looks like the Ford one is the Noah model.
Thanks!

Re: Cover for Supercrew

I went with California Car Cover Co.

http://calcarcover.com/car_cover_fin....x=64&find.y=8

It stands up to this Florida sun, heat, humidity, and daily torrential downpours. It's light enough for me to maneuver myself, but it's a bit of a pain when you're dressed up and ready to go somewhere... (I'm a girl).... and don't bother getting the storage bag, you'll never get it in there! Be aware that if you don't have a tonneau cover on the back, rain will weigh down the cover into the bed of your truck (as any cover will).

My cover is very custom-fit, and I chose the 'Noah' fabric. The cover cost $219.99. I did a lot of research before I made this decision.... it was the right one for me!

Good luck with your search!

Thanks for the input, Oriole6. When I clicked your link though, the Noah was $259? Maybe you got a good deal! That is the same one they sell at fordparts.com (see link from APT above) for 229.54. Seems like a good deal through them, so I may go with it.
