Hi first time poster. I have never owned a ford before but this site will certainly make things easier. Awesome site for info. So naturally I have a question. We will be receiving our 03 4X2 xlt supercrew on Wednesday, unfortunatley we are leaving for holidays on Friday. My question is what is the height of the hitch on the 4X2? We live in a small town so I will need to buy our draw bar (I think that is the name of the piece that goes into the receiver) ahead of time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance JR

I'm not exactly sure as to the exact answer to your question however; I would suggest that you try posting the same question in the "TOWING" forum. There are a few guys there that are guru's on this type of thing and probably know the answers off the top of their heads.

I think you are asking what kind of drop do you need on your receiver??

I have a 4 inch drop, that puts my ball in the 17-19" range for trailer towting.

But as RockPick said, also try the towing section.
