I love my 01.

2001 was also a great year for the Seattle Mariners baseball team

I love my crew! These trucks are the best!

Hard to believe it was a test vehicle to see if there was a market
for a truck of its type before the Blackwood was finalized....
It sold so well, and the Blackwood was so over priced, that now the Screw is here to stay, and the Blackwood is gone...

flscrew,
Do you really find the '02 that different? I know it is quieter, but what else do you really like about it more than the '01?
I got my '01 in Mar '00. The only problems I've had were mainly dealer inflicted (sigh)
It has been a great truck, and I have definitely not babied it.
I would be tempted by the '03s, but with the '04s coming out and the wife pointing out that her SUV is older...I will probably have to wait until '05/'06.
Of course, if I could get a really good deal

Yes,the '02 is a different truck than the early Gen I. Mainly the front end geometry. I had quite a go with Ford. From dealers to Factory Engineers. Even the dealer was happy to trade it off. Got me out of their hair ! Probably was a lemon, as it was *one* of the first trucks off the line. I am very happy with my '02. Again, this was *one of the very early versions*. And we could have fixed it at the race shop, but a brand new truck under warranty,? NOT.. I am very happy with the '02. Just my 2$ worth. I am happy to hear very few had the same issues. That proves a limited edtion lemon theory...
