Con,

I Love The Truck...

One question..( and I am not trying to be difficult)..

Why drop a 4x4? The 4x2 is already 3 inches lower than the 4x4 and costs about $3k less.

I like tall trucks though.

Cool truck. I did a similar face lift to my '99, but I also installed the '01 style HD grille. There is a link to my pics in my signature. Sorry about the poor picture of my updated look. I am planning on taking more pictures tomorow since I finally got around to putting a couple of coats of wax on it. This site is a good source for finding deals on anything else you decide to do.

Hey nice truck! Exactly like mine (stock anyway). I will soon be putting euro heads and corners on it, 22 inch rims, exhaust( bassani??), custom leather interior, CAI, hypertech, headers, high flow cats, billet grill, interior billet, etc... lol. Don't know what else I need yet. Oh yeah, I am having ghost flames done in pear silver and pearl blue on the hood and side. Man and I just got the truck two days ago... I wanted the harley truck but it was more than I could afford.

Colby,

I saw a truck that had a flame job like you are talking about except they used that high dollar Dupont paint that changes colors. It was a dark color truck. The day I saw it he was on the other side of the interstate from me with the sun shining. It was really wicked looking how the colors changed on the flames as he drove by. Just something to think about.

Good luck with your mods

Anthony
