I bought mine in October 2000 and I've never regretted it. I would give a thumbs down to the never-fixed "tranny thunk" and to the fact that Ford produced the Gen III SuperCrew (built after Nov. 2000) with rear seat headrests and never offerred any kind of a retrofit for the Gen I and Gen II owners.

Bought my 02 in October of 01. Love this truck!
Changes I would like to have:
1. 6 foot bed instead of 5.5.
2. Heated side mirrors.
3. Rear window defroster.
4. More info in overhead console ie: outside temp, gas mileage, etc.
5. 3 valve engine (300 hp).
Still, I would buy another in a second. Great all around vehicle!!!
