Those of you with the 5.4..what mpg are you seeing?
2001 S-crew, Bone Stock, 5.4L, 4x2, 3.55LSD, 16" Wheels, Using low grade (87 Oct) fuel.
I haven't updated my spreadsheet in 5-6 weeks but at 27680 miles my overall total mileage is 15.99 mpg. Best 1 tank average is 19.7. Best 3 tank average is 18.3 mpg and worst 3 tank average was 14.4 mpg. Most miles are city and I drive like an old man when leaving the stoplights.

The last three fill-ups have increased to 16 mpg. It might be the formulation of the fuel or the fact that at 17k the motor is broken in. It gets about the same milege in mixed driving as on the interstate. Go figure.
mileage update
after filling up today, I found that my normal driving mileage has increased by 1 mpg. When I calculated my mileage at fillup today, I got 16.31 mpg on that tank of Amoco 93 ocatane. Better than I have ever gotten on a tank of normal driving. (25-35 miles per round-trip). I always use Amoco 93, but this tank I think I took it easier on the throttle. Just wasn't in the same hurry to get places I normally am this week I guess.
Throttle makes a big difference in our trucks' mileage. I think it is because they are such large heavy vehicles.
