Lariat Seats

Hello.

My 2003 Supercrew has the cloth 60/40 seats. With 2 little boys and all the eating and drinking that goes on, how can I get the Lariat leather seats front & rear for my truck without going to the dealer? I really like the buckets in the Lariat too. I don't like on the 60/40 when the passenger moves the seat the console goes with it. Plus the console on the 60/40 is so small. Besides junk yards, does anyone know of a conversion company that might remove the Lariat seats or maybe I could swap somebody? Any help would be appreciated.

Craig

Stunna,

If you want the entire seat, frame and leather, I can't help you. But a few years ago I wanted leather in a car I owned. I went to a leather shop that did auto seats. They ordered a pre-made leather package that wasn't as expensive as the factory leather. It looked better than factory, and the leather was of higher quality.
Check around.

With Ford offering 2.9% and $2500 cash back, maybe you should revisit the dealership before you start ripping seats out. Unless you already got some of that action.

Check your local salvage yards. I believe you can make an Expedition interior work for you as well. If you have any trim shops in your town check with them. As stated before, it is not unusual for them to install leather seatcovers that look as good or better than stock.

I have no idea as to how these compare cost wise with the OEM leather seats (OEM is usually outrageous), but they are leather, and they are sweet!

I'm currently considering a very custom set of these for my SuperCrew.

I've seen leather seat cover replacements on ebay, and once in a while will see Lariat covers that have been removed for sale.

I don't see any today though. I usually do a search for "super crew" Here is one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33702

It is for the capt chairs starting at $275 + $30 shipping. It says 01-02. I suppose they have a set for each. These are new covers. Part leather, part vinyl. I do recall an all leather set for close to $700.
