easy install

Don't worry about it RockPick, it was really easy....I went to a buddy's house (translate that to mean friend from work with a sawsall) and the two of us had the old one off and new system on in 30 minutes...Might have taken longer without a friend with a sawsall....Backed it up onto a couple of ramps to get a little more clearance (step bars get in the way otherwise)...

Got the system for $395.50 with free shipping delivered by FedEx (none of those brown shorts guys) in 3 business days...

www.hottexhaust.com

Love the sound and that big tip sticking out the back....

I was shocked as well but remember I am in Canadian dollars. The price difference on the muffler and taail pipe weren't that bad between US and Canada but the whole system price was way out there. I would have bought from Troyer but the shipping would kill me as well. I am happy with what I got and the price so I guess thats all that matters. I called 5 different places and that was the best price I could find locally. Some places wanted over $200 just for a flowmaster 40 series muffler and that wasn't even what I wanted. I got all my info on this forum and knew what I wanted. I would hate to think of what I would have got as some shops tried to sell me stuff I didnt want because I complained about there prices. This site has helped me find what I want and even saved me money. Awesome site

I also recieved my Magnaflow catback system for $395 with free Fed Ex shipping. Took the 2003 Supercrew to a shop and they removed the OEM exhaust and installed the Magnaflow for $57(took 45 minutes) and saved the OEM exhaust. Only have around 100 miles on it since the install, but I can tell that the throttle response is improving with every mile(burn-in). Great Mod.

Magnaflow just came out with the SI/DO cat back system for the F-150 (15749) 5x8x18, but they told me these are on back order. I think I'll wait for this

Wow it is finally out and only $25 MSRP more than the single system. Hmm, I'll really have to consider that when time to upgrade.

The single 3" system fits both Screw and extcab/short bed. I suspect the same for the dual as the underbody is the same.

Does anyone have any more information on the 15749? Is it true dual, or 3" SI dual 2.5 out?

And where are the exit points for the tips (e.g. two separate tips exiting under the rear bumper, two parallel tips both exiting in the stock location, or what I heard most recently, two parallel tips exiting in front of the passenger side rear tire, a la Ford Lightning.) If you know, please share.

15609 SI/SO is the same part number for the Super Crew as well as the Ext cab/short bed so I figured it should be same for the SI/DO as well. I'll check with Magnaflow again.

I emailed Magnaflow last month, they responded back to me that they where working on the SCREW and didn't mention a release date. so I went with a custom Magnaflow 14580 SI/DO Exhaust with SS pipes and tips. $540 w/tax installed.

Thanks SmokeyFX4,

Yes. It is 5x11x22, it has 2.5" in and 2.25" outs. It sounds sweet. It even made my wife smile. Barely noticible when on the road, but gives you a nice rumble when steppin on the gas. I told the installer I wanted the quietest Maganflow Dual out Muffler that was offered.

The SCREW would hesitate before when getting on the gas hard, now there is no heistation with the new Magnaflow Muffler.

Next up is the Air Raid Intake and Microtuner.

Wait until you get those installed. Major improvement in giddy-up. You're gonna have an even bigger smile on your face once all three of those little goodies are installed.
