Just for some reference, I bought my used '01 SCrew in Nov '02 (5.4, 2wd, CD changer, topper, tubular steps, Harvest Gold, ~60,000 miles) for $14,500 from a dealer in MI. At the time, all of the trade in prices were more than that, and the loan value was actually more than what I paid.

Any dealer is gonna screw ya on your trade. Everyone pays about the same price for new vehicles, so where the individual dealers make their money is on trade ins. Two months ago I had a 98 EB Expedition, loaded to the gills and clean as a whistle I wanted to trade in on a Screw. The Expedition had a very low trade in value "because the market was flooded with them", even thought they had one identical to mine except not as clean for over 6000 more than they offered me. At least around here, (upper midwest) Screws are kinda hard to find, and if you sell it privately you will do MUCH better.
